Virginia Betts: Results tutoring is a well-established and popular independent service based in Suffolk. I offer one-to-one tuition in English and English Literature. Key stage 3, G.C.S.E. and A level. Year 5,6 and 7 entrance tests to grammar or independent schools, home-school students or adults. (IELTS and Functional Skills) Online tuition is offered at home and outside the UK.

I have over 23 years' experience and taught with great success in a local independent school until I left to fly solo in 2013. I have extensive knowledge- willing to teach any syllabus or text and adapt to individual needs- those who struggle with mainstream school, for whatever reason, you are very welcome! I provide photocopying and have a vast array of resources to aid learning.

I work as an examiner for AQA and have experience in teaching all examination boards - AQA, Cambridge, (igcse and gcse), Edexcel,Welsh board OCR, new 9-1 spec.

From 2013-2020 100% of students applying gained scholarship places and GCSE and A Level grades were outstanding. I am also a published author.

I am busy but flexible -I have daytime tuition opportunities available, after school times and holidays. I am supporting students throughout the current pandemic locally, across the UK and abroad, and this proved successful for results in 2020.
