Nestled in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, our family-run business encompasses five acres, offering a warm and knowledgeable haven for your beloved pets. Our unwavering commitment is to provide the very best care for your furry friends.

Established in 1989 by Pete and Bev Barber, our daughter Rebecca grew up alongside our endeavors, becoming an integral part of our team. Bev holds both an Animal Care National Certificate and a Diploma in Kennel Management, and she's a seasoned professional dog trainer. Meanwhile, Rebecca boasts a BSc (Hons) in Animal Health and an MPhil in Biological Sciences.

With over three decades of experience in dog showing, working, breeding, and a lifelong connection with animals, our team is truly knowledgeable and professional. We specialize in breeding and showcasing Dobermanns and Border Terriers under the Alcumlow Affix. Additionally, we have the honor of judging these breeds at championship show levels. Our puppies are meticulously reared, undergo health checks, and are showered with love, with only occasional availability.

Our success extends to the show ring, and you can spot some of our achievements on these pages. All our dogs are cherished members of our family, as is our cat, Taffy, and our Shetland ponies.

Our establishment prides itself on maintaining immaculate facilities, attention to detail, and, most importantly, a deep affection for every pet under our care. Offering love and cuddles is an essential part of our daily mission.
